Thanks Everyone

I shipped a pretty solid month, for me, to finish things off. Obviously I suck at 25NL/PL, so I have to make sure I play stakes where they respect my raises in 2010 :)

As for all of 2009, I'm quite pleased overall. This has definitely been my most solid and consistent year, and I have to give a lot of credit to the group for this. It's very motivating to have a solid group of players behind me for support. Just knowing that I might have to talk about how my play is going each week keeps me from doing dumb stuff at the table (well, less dumb stuff at least). All the discussions we have and analysis of hands we do really keeps things fresh. I've had a lot of fun with you all too. We have a lot of great personalities in the group, which makes for a fun and exciting group dynamic.

Here's to a great upcoming 2010! Go FR Turtles!!!

100 rebuy

Sorry for missing tonight's meeting guys. My friend from HS, who lives down the hall took 2nd a 100 rebuy on stars for 15k, so we went out celebrating. 1 thing led to another and the next thing I know, we are rolling in at 4am, hopefully all went well.

I just found out...

that my old room mate is flying into town this weekend to surprise me for my bday. Anyways he gets in Thursday evening, and won't be here for long, so there isn't any way that I will be able to make it too the meeting. I feel extremely bad, especially since I missed the session last week, and since it's such short notice. However, I really hope that my short absence won't affect the group, and everything is going strong! I will definitely make it next week, so I hope to talk to you guys then!

I'm turning 21, so I'm going to brag.... Cake graphs inside!!!

Hey guys, my 21st birthday is this week, so I'm going to be doing a lot of partying, and most likely not going to make it to the session tomorrow, I'm sure everyone will understand. But just to prove that I have been taking poker seriously, and since PT3 just came out with an update that is compatible with Cake, I thought this would be a good time to post some graphs for the month of September to date, hopefully doomswitch isn't ignited afterwards for posting before the month is over.

Nevertheless September 1st I moved my entire roll over to Cake, and it couldn't have worked out better to date. I just logged of my biggest session ever, making over $1,200 dollars at 50NL-200NL. So here comes the shameless bragging... so far this month I have played 44K hands mixing anywhere from 50NL-200NL with a few hundred hands at 2/4. In that time I have made $1,050 in rakeback alone! On top of that i have profited $6,175 at the tables, which doubles my biggest month in 14 months on Stars.

Unfortunately I am a computer donk so the graphs are probably really small and tough too see, but oh well graphs from Cake Poker are the nuts.

So since Cake lets you change your name every week, and that's how PT keeps track of the players, I have two different graphs for the different names I played under, but these are all of my results from September 1st-16th.

This is where I first started playing full time on Cake, and was still getting a feel for the games.

This is for the screenname Ace_Rock, which I am currently playing under. As you can see I started getting a feel for the games and learned how to win without showdown!

Question: Is everyone fist pumping hand #2? Also, do you like a call and allow him to shove the turn vs. just shoving over top? Also, does anyone think he is capable of adjusting and would find a fold here?

Shove or flat vs. nit....

Villain: 12/9/3.5 This guy has a set or AKc. So in this spot do we like a call.
Full Tilt Poker $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em - 8 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

BTN: $23.15
SB: $50.00

Turn: ($31.00) A (2 players)
SB bets $13.50

Question:
And based on his turn size what are you thought and do we surrender or try and move him off his hand?

Call Or Shove vs agg?

Villain: 18/13/2.4 in 3 k hands. my notes show that he is calling a wide range from the bb and he semi bluffs a ton in and out of position. It would make sense since his check raise stat on the flop is 17 percent.

Full Tilt Poker $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em - 9 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

Hero (MP2): $50.00

UTG: $9.25
UTG+1: $91.30

MP1: $31.30

Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is MP2 with Q Q
4 folds, Hero raises to $2, 3 folds, BB calls $1.50

Flop: ($4.25) J T 9 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $3.50, BB raises to $11

While my equity appears decent in the hand vs. his range do we want to just get it in here? Do you suggest a call shove or call off a blank turn? Is it spew to get it in. Also, do you prefer a shove or click it back to 22.

Based on the 11 percent and the assumed range ( have to give villain much wider range then a standard fr utg player. I am thinkng 8+,AJs+,AhTh,KJs+,KhTh,QhJh,QhTh would take this line and I am almost 50/50 in this spot vs. his range.

Question: does my range given seem on target. Do you see this as an easy fold spot?

CHECK BB (What are your thoughts here. Do you like a lead? What does our lead accomplish? I guess it would not be a terrible thing to just take this pot down now.

BET Button, $5 ( hmmmm
. Possibly he flat called with a big pair but his range is very wide when he is calling 3 bets so he could he could be trying to stab take it down w/ Aq, AJ, KQ, 33's, etc. What do you think in this spot of min clicking it back? He will jam if he has the nuts and I can take it down when he stabs with all those hands mentioned. I also discourage him from seeing the turn with Ax, etc. )
