? Oh no he didn't!

Table has been running like a 6 max table I am running 19/15 and I am a nit at the table. Note that this is a deep table. Initial raiser has been trying to run over the table and we get in this spot.

Seat 1: Villain 1 ($130.30 in chips) -
Seat 2: Villain 2 ($54.25 in chips)
Seat 3: Villain 3 ($102.90 in chips)
Seat 4: Villain 4 ($385.45 in chips)
Seat 5: Hero ($104.55 in chips)
Seat 6: Villain 5 ($51.80 in chips)
Seat 7: Villain 6 ($47.20 in chips)
Seat 8: Villain 7 ($51.25 in chips) -
Seat 9: Villain 8 ($61.10 in chips) -
PRE-FLOP:
Villain 8 posts small blind $0.25
Villain 1 posts big blind $0.50
Dealt To: Hero
FOLD Villain 2
FOLD Villain 3
RAISE Villain 4 ($1.50) ( 116 hands 41/34/7.8)
CALL Hero ($1.50)
FOLD Villain 5
FOLD Villain 6
FOLD Villain 7
FOLD Villain 8
RAISE Villain 1 ($6) (393 hand 19/9/5.5) 3 bet 3 percent squeeze 3 percent)

Initial raiser is from ep and I am early mp. Button is a 20/16- 3 bet 9 percent etc. and a few others that are squeeze and 3 bet happy. I would have flat called here with AA and KK. BB is decent and aggressive. What should I do in this spot? Are there objections to a small 4 bet. Is a fold even in your thoughts? Is flattening here too weak?

  1. What did Villain 4 do? I'm guessing he just folded. I don't think I would ever fold here, you have position on the BB and a great starting hand. BB is probably 3betting here a little light because of the table dynamics but even so, 3% is 99+ and AKs, you are ahead of that range. I guess my play would be to flat call and keep 99-JJ, AK in his range because the only hands he is continuing with if you 4bet is KK/AA and you are crushed. I wouldn't mind a small 4bet but I think I'd rather flat and go from there, especially with position.
